I’m back to my drawing group. We met in a virtual anatomy class through the Art Students League, and when it sadly came to an end, we decided to continue our practice together. We meet twice a week for two hours, which is quite nice because most of us lead pretty solitary lives when working on our various artistic pursuits. I had to take a break when renovations in the house prevented me from access to the studio - which went on a lot longer than I thought they would. After that, there was the moving back into the studio, and along with my getting back to painting, I’ve been concentrating on helping an old friend with her Kidney Donor Drive, a long and relentless pursuit to find an altruistic donor, which has taken time that I have been honored to spend on it. The search continues, but I’m shifting my thoughts on how to balance my time so that I can get back to this pursuit on a regular basis.
